which one i liked, "a boat to nowhere" or "sudan's lost boys"

I didn't like either one of them because the first story talks about orphans living in an orphanage in a time of war, but it doesn't talk about the war. It only says what happened when a glutton orphan reaches the orphanage and starts eating, and that's not interesting!
And I didn't like the article about the Sudanese boys because it is more fictional than the novel, especially in the end where they talk about the amazement of the boys when they reach America and start discovering keys and fridges. In short, they are both unreal and boring.
