Oral Fixation Vol. 2[/i] was released on November 29, 2005 in North America, Australia, and continental Europe. Two tracks from the album, "[/color][/size][url=https://algassania2.mam9.com/wiki/How_Do_You_Do_(Shakira_song)][u][size=25][color:26f8=#00ff00]How Do You Do[/u][/color][/size][/url][size=25][color:26f8=#00ff00]" and "[/color][/size][url=https://algassania2.mam9.com/wiki/Timor_(song)][u][size=25][color:26f8=#00ff00]Timor[/u][/color][/size][/url][size=25][color:26f8=#00ff00]", sparked some controversy at the time of its release. The cover of the album was also considered controversial, and had to be altered in several countries. "Don't Bother" failed to peak within the top 40 in the United States. "[/color][/size][url=https://algassania2.mam9.com/wiki/Hips_Don%27t_Lie][u][size=25][color:26f8=#00ff00]Hips Don't Lie[/u][/color][/size][/url][size=25][color:26f8=#00ff00]", the second single released from the album, became Shakira's first number one single on the U.S. [i]Billboard[/i] Hot 100. On March 28, 2006, the album was re-released and featured "Hips Don't Lie". Shakira received the most number of nominations for the [/color][/size][url=https://algassania2.mam9.com/wiki/2006_MTV_Video_Music_Awards][u][size=25][color:26f8=#00ff00]2006 MTV Video Music Awards[/u][/color][/size][/url][size=25][color:26f8=#00ff00] with "Hips Don't Lie", but she won only the award for Best Choreography. The tour had 125 shows between June 14, 2006 and July 9, 2007. She performed on 5 continents: Asia, Europe, North America, Latin America, and Africa. During this tour, Shakira performed a free concert in [/color][/size][url=https://algassania2.mam9.com/wiki/Mexico][u][size=25][color:26f8=#00ff00]Mexico[/u][/color][/size][/url][size=25][color:26f8=#00ff00] on May 27, 2007 with over 210,000 in attendance. This concert set the record for the highest attendance of any concert in Mexican history.
