Robert Peary & Matthew Henson
Early in the twentieth century the North Pole was still undiscovered. Robert Peary and Matthew Henson were the first people to reach the North Pole .The walking on it is very difficult ,ice can break apart and move without warning .
But on April 6, 1909 ,they reached their goal
_the North Pole_ the very top of the world !
Helen Keller
When Helen Keller was a baby ,she became sick with a fever. The sickness left her but after that she couldn't see or hear, it was hard for her to learn to communicate . Because she could not see, she couldn't use sing language . She also couldn't "read lips" , she was very frustrated . But she was intelligent ,she learned to understand speech by touching the speaker's lips .
Keller gave lectures and wrote many books.
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart
Mozart was born in Austria. When he was a child, he began to play the harpsichord, and he wrote his first song. Mozart had a very uncommon childhood and he performed concerts when he was six years old. He became a brilliant musician and composer. In his life people didn't know him very well , but today people everywhere still enjoy his music.
