Queen Zanobia's rule of palmyra astonished both East and West During the reign of Emperor Aurelian she decided to conquer all Roman territorier and conquer Eygept and send armies to Asia Minor Zanobia then took the title of Augusta atitle reserved for Roman emperors coined money with her face and her son s on it deleting all traces of Roman authority
Emperor Aurelian started to plan his revenge He besieged Palmyra until it fell
Zanobia was defeated and to Rome in gold chains where she poisoned herself
