ROBIN HOOD is the most popular folk hero of all times. The story has reached every corner of the world. It has been made into movies and cartoons, even though it is more than 600 years old.

Everyone knows Robin Hood's friends, Little John, Will Scarlet, and Brother Tuck, besides the infamous Sheriff of Nottingham. Sherwood Forest is where most of Robin's adventures took place in England.

Unfortunately, there is almost no evidence that Robin Hood really existed. Thirteen-century ballads, fourteen-century chronicles a sixteen-century History of Great Britain, all talk about him but none of them cites the sources they used.
