On 28 June 1914, [/size][url=https://algassania2.mam9.com/wiki/Gavrilo_Princip][u][size=29][color:c78a=#0000ff]Gavrilo Princip[/u][/color][/size][/url][size=29], a [/size][url=https://algassania2.mam9.com/wiki/Bosnian_Serb][u][size=29][color:c78a=#0000ff]Bosnian Serb[/u][/color][/size][/url][size=29] student, shot and killed [/size][url=https://algassania2.mam9.com/wiki/Archduke_Franz_Ferdinand][u][size=29][color:c78a=#0000ff]Archduke Franz Ferdinand[/u][/color][/size][/url][size=29], heir to the [/size][url=https://algassania2.mam9.com/wiki/Emperors_of_Austria][u][size=29][color:c78a=#0000ff]Austro-Hungarian throne[/u][/color][/size][/url][size=29] in [/size][url=https://algassania2.mam9.com/wiki/Sarajevo][u][size=29][color:c78a=#0000ff]Sarajevo[/u][/color][/size][/url][size=29].
