Hilary Duff's acting and singing career blasted off in 2003, with appearances in three movies and a Top 40 hit, "So Yesterday" (from her debut solo album, [i]Metamorphosis[/i]). Duff became a star by way of the title role in the successful television series [i]Lizzie McGuire[/i] (2001-03) on the Disney Channel.
