Five Days in Homs
Homs orHims is the third important city in Syria ,it's full of many interesting, old and modern places and restaurants.Homs is located in the middle of Syria and it's the gateway from the Mediteranean to the interior.
Day 1- Arraival:
Today, you aren't going to have alot of time to see the city of Homs because you'll arrive at 8:00 p.m.
You will put your casesin the Safir hotel, and godown to walk in Al-Malab street and have your dinner in one of its restaurants
Day2-Visiting Palmyra:
This day you are going to visit Palmyra or "Todmor" in arabic. This city was one of the Roman empire cities and it became more important whem Zanoubia became its queen.In this day, you are going to visit the Congress-Council,the castel and the temples. You can also ride camels and horses. Of course, you can buy souvenirs. then you'll go back to 'Dedman' hotel where you are going to spend your night.
Day3-Visting Al-Hosin Castel:
Today, you are going to visit Al-Hosin village and its castel. Then, you'll visit Saint George church and your lunch will be in "Al-Wadi" hotel.In the evening, you'll go to go back to "Al-Safir" hotel in Homs.
Day4-Old Homs:
You are going to go to Al-Hamidieh and Bustan Al-Diwan to visit old churches like the "Cathedra of fourty saints" and "Am Alznar" churchwher the belt of the Lady is. then, you are goung to visit "Al-Gassania" high school one of the oldest schools in Homs. Today, your lunch will be in "Julia-Dumna" restaurant. Then, the time is your , you can do whatever you want.
Day5-Shopping, Leaving:
You'll go to "Al-Dabllan ST" to go shopping, try and buy clothes.Then, you can have something to eat from "Almond" dessert store. After that, you are going to leave for your next destination.
