One day, a Hare saw Tortoise plodding along the road. Hare teased Tortoise because she was walking slowly. The Tortoise said "Do you want to race?" Hare agreed and he ran off. Then Hare felt tired and hot so he took a short nap. He slept for along time than he wanted to do. After he woke up, he saw the tortoise ahead in front of him. He was still feeling confident that he could reach the finish line before Tortoise. He ran as fast as he could. Finally, Hare threw himself over the finish line, but Tortoise was there first.
Moral: Slow and steady wins the race
