A one half hour ago I'd read press-release about new "Laguna-Coupe". It
seems, that it tries to hide information about what Renault motors have
created this concept for, and what is interesting in it.
Here are some quotes:

... blend with the architecture of the platform, and slightly profitable, they ideally like glove, oblegayut body off.

Volvo's giving us a little treat in releasing these pictures of the
XC60 concept SUV, which they'll be showing in a few weeks at the
Detroit show. While strictly dubbed a concept show car, the kid brother
to the XC90 is expected to go into production in 2009. How closely it
mirrors this shapely showcar is the question. (More)

With obvious intentions of dominating the luxury sedan market, Lexus
has infused its updated LS four-door with something that no competitor
can provide - a V8 full hybrid drivetrain.
Based on a five-liter direct injection V8 engine, the Lexus Hybrid
Drive adds a pair of high-power electric motors and a two-stage
"electronic continuously variable transmission" to produce up to 430 HP
- said to be equivalent to that of a six-liter V12 (hence the model
nomenclature). To make sure that power makes it to the pavement, a
standard full-time AWD system routes the power to all four wheels. Fuel
economy has not yet been disclosed but is said to be similar to that of
mid-sized V6 AWD sedans. The LS 600h L will be certified as a Super
Ultra Low Emissions Vehicle (SULEV), giving it emissions levels
approximately 70% lower than that of the competition.

Lexus forges into exotic sports car territory with the LF-A concept

Ferrari stormed to a dominant 1-2 victory at the Turkish Grand Prix
today. Felipe Massa lead from pole to take his third victory of the
season and Kimi Raikkonen finished a strong second to ensure the team's
second 1-2 finish of the season. This race result was a strong comeback
for Ferrari after disappointment at the previous Hungarian Grand Prix.

At the last Frankfurt Motorshow in September 1999, BMW introduced
the Z9 gran turismo concept car. This dramatically styled sports coup?
has been designed to showcase BMW's cutting edge technology and design,
featuring gullwing doors, carbon fibre bodywork and the world's first
V8 diesel engine.
The lines of the Z9's exterior design are clean, simple, yet
dramatic, with a long, sleek bonnet and short, muscular tail. At the
front is the unmistakable BMW kidney grille and from the side, the huge
wheels - 20 inch at the front and 21 at the rear - and high waist give
the car real presence. (More)

Now that the 2007 BMW X5 has made its debut, BMW is working on its
next sport activity vehicle (SAV). Expected to debut sometime next
year, the 2009 BMW X6 uses the same basic hardware as the X5 but adds a
sleeker profile and subtracts some utility for the sake of styling and
improved handling. Our latest spy video shows an early X6 prototype
undergoing development tests on the streets of Munich.
Expected to come off BMW's Spartanburg assembly line, the X6 will
ride on the same platform as its more family-oriented sibling. Its
wheelbase isn't expected to change much, although it may add an inch or
two in length to make the proportions look right. Judging by the
prototype in our latest video and photos, the X6 will look similar to
the X5 from the B-pillar forward. A deeper front spoiler and some
extended side skirting may be used, but in a rearview mirror it would
be hard to distinguish an X6 from an X5. (More)

Luxurious performance cabriolets are no longer simply the domain of
bespoke British and Italian handiwork. ALPINA present the B6 Cabrio – a
viable alternative –combining performance and luxury with a high degree
of everyday usability.
500 horsepower, 700 Nm – absurd in an open-topped sports car? Far
from it. The V8’s beguiling sound and opulent torque entice the driver
to glide along in a relaxed fashion, any and all red-line orgies far
afield, much like cruising on a Harley Davidson. This provides the time
to drink in the top-down melànge of breezes, scents and sounds.
Leather, wood and matchless ergonomics caress the inhabitants,
immediately creating a sense of comfort and well-being. (More)

Audi is about to launch the most powerful

the showrooms in early summer, unleashes 240 kW (326 bhp) and 760 Nm of
