The Mysterious Nazca Lines

[size=18]The Nazca lines are huge images that were carved in the ground in Peru centuries ago. Many of these images are animals , & others are enormous geometric shapes. Scientists believe that the lines were created by ancient Nazca people between 200 B.C.E.&600C.E.Why the lines were made is still a mystery. Some astronomers think the lines could be a star map.Some archaeologists think the lines were probably used for religious or magical purposes. No one know for sure![/size]
