He had an accident that broke his back and he was in danger, he could not breathe without a machine. But, later he got better. He talked about his experience all over the USA. And when he was in the hospital, the doctor said that he was not going to pull through. However, his wife supported him alot and that saved his life because his marriage was so strong. Christopher Reeve had a new purpose for the American paralysis organisation. He has shown us by his achievements that he is a real –life superman.
